Cucumbers fit into the greenhouse
Okurek is many kinds, but how to choose the right one? Currently, seeds of cucumbers are not on the market, and they do not need to plant the pollinator. These are varietal cholesterol. If we choose this kind, we will not make a mistake. If not, we probably do not expect the desired fruits.
How to grow salad cucumbers?
First, we seed the seeds into the seed pot with the substrate, optimally into the fog. Seeds are sown in March or April. About a week, the plants have developed uterine leaves and can thus be transplanted into pots. At the latest within 3 weeks, the right leaves grow, and during this period, the seedlings can be transplanted into the greenhouse or
foil. The optimum temperature for pre-growing the cucumber seedlings is in the range of 15 - 20˚C.
Tip:
Cucumbers are very demanding for the fertilization of nitrogen-rich fertilizers, but they do not like excessive fertilization with industrial fertilizers. If we do not have good fertilizer from our own compost, we fertilize during vegetation. Cucumbers are very sensitive to all chlorine-based products, so avoid them. Chlor negatively affects the germination of plants and their subsequent growth.
Types of salad cucumbers
Vista F1 is a typical cannula suitable for the greenhouse. It is about 35 - 40 cm long and has a delicious flavor.
Tribute F1 has an excellent, juicy taste, almost 30 cm long, ideal for the greenhouse.
Baby1 short snake with firm peel, suitable for year-round greenhouse cultivation. Fruits are picked in the size of 8 - 10 cm.
Paladinka is medium to dark green with a length of 18 - 20 cm. Suitable for heating racks.
