Small grassy areas
Up to 100m2 we can use a
mower or
electric mower. Their advantage is appreciated especially by the ease of manipulation. The electric mower is still sufficient for areas up to 200m2. Both types of mowers are very quiet helpers, which will surely appreciate your neighbors. Especially if you have time to cut the garden only on Sunday.
Medium grassy areas
From a size over 200m2, it is good to consider buying a more powerful rotary mower. Here are mainly gasoline-powered mowers. Thanks to the drive, they have high speeds and are able to handle not only more space but also rugged terrain.
Large grassy areas
Up to 1500m2 we can still advise with a powerful gas lawnmower, but when we have an area to adapt around 1000m2 it is good to consider a more suitable machine. A great helper for trimming large lawns is a rider or tractor.
Rider
The garden rider is usually slightly smaller than the tractor, both in size and performance. Purchase of a rider makes sense in areas larger than 600m2. Unlike the tractor, the rider has a drive unit under the driver's seat. The garden rider is usually smaller and also cheaper than the tractor.
Tractor
For land that is larger than 2000m2, it is advisable to consider buying a tractor.
Tractors have mowers and throw grass to the side or back behind the tractor. With the harvesting equipment, grass will be mowed. The big advantage of tractors is their versatile use. They are suitable not only for grass mowing, but with additional equipment we can make a snow cutter, a grabber or even sweep.
Tip:
If we really do not want to edit the lawn regularly, it is worth considering buying a robotic mower. We save time because the robotic mower does not need any special supervision. Easy operation ensures perfect, quiet, safe and ecological performance. For more sophisticated models, you can also set the program for a full week ahead, and some models can handle terrain up to 2000m2.
