The wings are made of boards that overlap the laths on which they are nailed under the sloping sides of the lomenice under the roof. On the outside they are covered with shingles. In the 19th century, wings in northern and eastern Bohemia were decorated with plant or wavy ornaments. Painted wings are most often found on classic rustic buildings.
