Sunlight travels to us in the form of electromagnetic radiation. Solar irradiation is the amount of direct sunlight that falls on an area of 1 m2 per 1 second. This is the density of the radiant flow, measured in kilojoules, on a horizontal or inclined surface of 1 m 2. Solar irradiation depends on the sun constantly, the geographical location, the day and the season, the height of the Sun above the horizon, but also the state of the atmosphere. It is an important factor in the biosphere because it depends on local fauna and flora.
