The EIA is the abbreviation of the English phrase "Environmental Impact Assessment", which reads "Environmental Impact Assessment" in the Czech translation. Under this name, there is a study to find out whether the evaluated building would not be too much of an environmental impact, especially nature. This study does not need to have smaller projects evaluated, but for large buildings such as factories, it is a necessity. Even if a negative evaluation of the report does not necessarily imply ending or reworking the project, administrative authorities usually consider the findings of the study.
