The spark arrester is placed on the last chimney liner and its function is to prevent leakage and scattering of the sparks from the chimney, also to prevent water from leaking and falling unwanted objects into the chimney.

The spark arrester slides onto the insert from the outside. It can also serve as a cover and safely protects the chimney from unfavorable external influences.
