What is a chimney pull
Chimney thrust is the pressure that blows the air through the chimney. Fumes from the hearth or furnace are less dense than air, and are thus pushed out of the chimney and replaced by fresh air. The stroke depends on both the height of the chimney and the purity of the vent. If the move is weaker, it is better to call an expert to look through the chimney. It is not free, but the inconveniences associated with the blocked vent are much worse and, ultimately, more expensive.
